Mexico and Italy were some of the first maps we made available...before we standardized on using HASC codes  for the country maps. We never did go back and change it because people had been using them for some time already. We will add that to our list of considerations going forward.

We will review the countries you note as not having good subdivisions, and make updates as needed.

As for the missing maps you mentioned...we have not released maps for these countries yet. Currently we are focusing making the existing amMap country maps available as part of the recently-announced JavaScript version of amMap that is in the works. Once that is accomplished we will resume adding maps for additional countries.
