Hi,
If you start with a large window for the swf movie, then make it smaller, the map resizes/reloads correctly - even if you make it larger again.
However if you start with a small window, then make it bigger, the resize doesn't work correctly. It cuts off the map and the map doesn't get drawn in the whole swf size.
This was tested in IE6 and FF3, I am using the embed flash method.

I have tested it out more and can't fix the problem, it just seems to be that the size of map area is not updating when the movie size changes. Redraw is firing so it knows the resize is occurring.

I have seen the same problem, I'm using IE8. If you start with a smaller window and then say maximize it the right side of the map is cut off. The map gets cut off wherever the right edge of the smaller window was.

Any idea when / if this bug will be fixed?
Thanks,

I am seeing the same problem in IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, and Safari on PCs and Firefox and Safari on MACs. When might this be corrected?

Yes, there is in fact a bug. We will fix this in the next version of amMap.
Meanwhile you can workaround it by setting <mask>false</mask> in your settings file.

It was, but some recent fixes seem to have broken it again. We have just updated this again. Please redownload latest amMap archive. It contains updated swf.

A new version of amMap 2.5.4 was just released which addresses this issue.

I'm guessing it has to do with the way you're closing your <embed> tag. I don't think embeds are allowed to close themselves, you'll need a proper </embed> closing tage rather than <embed />.
