Not currently available, but state maps with counties are planned for the coming months. Likely we will start with a USA map showing all counties best-suited for high-level demogaphics. The counties will be a bit simplified for performance. You would still be able to zoom in on them, though. Then we might start on detailed county views for individual states.

We do not maintain ZIP database. So yes, you would need to manage that part yourself.

Do you mean zip codes? If so, they are not included with the US County maps (either as data or a map layer). You would need to manage that yourself. You would need to associate zip codes with a county and then use scripting to tell AMMAP which county to highlight using the JavaScript API functions included with AMMAP.

ZIPS are not associated with the counties out-of-the box. The county data files come with an ID and name associated with each county. You will need to supply/manage any any other associated data you want to show.
