Q: What payment options do you support?
A: Credit card, PayPal, wire transfer or purchase order.
Q: Can I pay using purchase order?
A: Purchase order is available for orders valued 250EUR or more.
Q: When will I receive purchased products?
A: If you use instant payment options like Credit card or PayPal you will be able to download the software immediately after purchase. Other payment types will incur some lead time until your payment or purchase order clears.
Q: Are all your products delivered electronically?
A: Yes. There will be no physical shipping of the products.
Q: I’m a little confused about which license type to choose. Can you help me figure it out?
A: Please visit this page which provides some explanation about available license types.
Q: Will I receive an official invoice?
A: Yes, you will receive a receipt by email.
Q: I’m a business incorporated in a EU country. Do I have to pay VAT?
A: No. Just enter your EU VAT ID in the appropriate field on the checkout page.
Q: I’m currently using free version of your product. Will I need to change anything in my code in order to use commercial version?
A: No. You will just need to replace product files with the different ones that will be made to you available for download after purchase.
Q: Can I receive an official quotation?
A: Absolutely. Please contact us directly at contact@amcharts.com or use our online contact form.
Q: Can I purchase through a reseller?
A: Yes. Lots of companies purchase our products through resellers. Chances are that your favorite software vendor is already set up as amCharts reseller. Just ask them. Make sure you explain exactly what products and license types do you need.

Q: Are your maps displayed on iPad/iPhone?
A: Yes, our JavaScript maps are displayed on these devices.
Q: Can I use amMap for free?
A: Yes, the only limitation of the free version is that a small link to this web site will be displayed in the top right corner of your maps.
Q: Will I be able to use amMap without a link to this web site after I buy a license?
A: Yes, the link is displayed only in free versions of amMap.
Q: Will I receive the source code if I purchase a commercial license?
A: The source codes are provided for OEM license buyers.
Q: What are the main rules for the usage of the sources?
A:
1) You can’t distribute sources or make them publicly available in any way.
2) You can use sources to create modifications of the products, but not to create new products and distribute them.
3) The sources are provided as they are, without any guarantee that you will understand them.
4) No free support on the topics about sources is provided.
Q: What Web server do I need to run amMap?
A: amMap is platform-independent. You can run amMap even on your computer, without a Web server.
Q: Can you help me integrate amMap/ do customization according to my needs?
A: Yes. We have already helped numerous customers to integrate, configure and modify amMap according to their needs. Please forward your request to contact@amcharts.com and let us handle them for you.
Q: You had Flash version of your chars, were did it go?
A: Even though we owe a lot to Flash, we have to admit that it’s a dying technology. Rich JavaScript/HTML5 apps is the new de facto standard. This is why we’re making JavaScript maps our focus and top priority. However the old Flash maps can still be downloaded from our download section. Note, we no longer support Flash version of our maps. When you purchase license of JavaScript maps, you also get the same license for Flash maps.
